We truly appreciate it when donors call ahead of time to ask exactly what the food pantry needs because our food needs frequently change. The food items that we ask for the most are crackers, ramen noodles, peanut butter, canned and dried fruit, cereal and ravioli. These items go in every single food parcel. Currently, we give out an average of 183 family food parcels and 519 individual food parcels per month. Each food parcel is able to feed a family/individual for 2-3 days. Our pantry provides direct hunger-relief services to those in need in our community. We believe that no one ever deserves to go hungry. We acquire food from generous donations, grocery and convenience store partners, and from the USDA’s Commodity Supplemental Food Program. We also receive proceeds directly from our thrift store and contributions from individuals, corporations and organizations.
