 How to Apply:

To receive assistance from the Christian Life Center you must live in Mercer County. If you want to apply, please contact our director in charge of client services Beth Bowling. There is no written application as we try to remove barriers to people receiving services, however, no one is guaranteed assistance.

Clients may also receive financial assistance through Bluegrass Community Action and/or the Mercer County Resource Ministry. We often work in tandem with these organizations and local churches to assist with larger bills for clients. These other organizations also provide services we do not. If you are looking for additional resources, don’t hesitate to reach out and we will do our best to connect you with the organization to best serve you.

What We Provide:

Primarily, the Christian Life Center is a food pantry. Our services include food parcels designed to feed a family for 2-3 days, financial assistance in small monetary amounts for rent, utilities, photo I.D. 's, hygiene packets, and sometimes prescription costs. From time to time, we also provide clothing for clients in need.

How to Qualify for Food Assistance:

To qualify for food services you must live in Mercer County. We require certain information, including income and dates of birth, per our partner organizations’ requests. Please contact Beth Bowling for more information on the qualification process.

Are you Experiencing Homelessness?

If you are experiencing homelessness, we can provide hygiene, food, and clothing on a more frequent basis, especially if you are on the streets. We will also provide items such as backpacks, blankets, rain ponchos, extra socks, gloves and hats, hand and feet warmers, can openers, eating utensils, towels and washcloths, etc.
